In response to numerous concerns and complaints regarding issues of dust, construction, noise, and parking, we received the following message from Adobe Housing Development:
Good morning, Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association
I’m writing on behalf of the project team to apologize for the recent inconvenience and disruption caused by construction activities at the corner of 24th st and E Santa Clara St.
We are aware of the concerns regarding dust and contractor parking on the streets. During our last OAC meeting, we reinforced the requirement to use the leased off-site parking at all time instead of street parking for all contractors and subcontractors. To minimize dust, we are actively watering the site multiple times during the day and covering active stockpiles over the weekends. We also have a street sweeper following the trucks that come in and out. Additionally, at the end of the day, the sweeper does multiple passes on the street to clean.
Please know that we take these concerns seriously and are doing everything we can to be a considerate neighbor. We will continue to monitor the site and work with our contractor to improve conditions and address any issues that arise.
Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention and for your continued patience as we work to complete the project. Please feel free to reach out to me if you experience any other concerns or issues related to the construction in the future. We truly appreciate the neighborhood’s understanding and support.
